What's nice about the windows is the precipitation and windshield wiper effect. Triple bogey main landing gear, a circular fuselage cross section, a blade shaped tail cone, raked wingtips and a glass cockpit with an advanced EFIS, fly-by-wire and automation are some of the distinguishing characteristics of the family. Folks, there's no terrain radar but the add on readily integrates with DrGluck's terrain radar plug-in. The add-on was first released for X-Plane 10 and initially featured the LR only. X-Plane too has its own add-on and that is what this review is going to be about. This is a great addition for those who want to fly like the olden days.If this is your first visit, welcome! No taxi cameras for the ER but that's understandable. This plane features a complete 3D model, realistic buttons, and a whole 3D cabin. The Concorde by Gary Hunter is one of the best Concordes ever donw for X-Plane. Even without the 3D cockpit it is a great plane and a great addition to your X-Plane plane collection. It includes all the normal things you would expect in a quality plane except for a 3D cockpit.

The 747's by Gary Hunter are great planes that feature full 3D models. 747-100, -200 Passanger/Freighter By: Gary Hunter This is definetly another addition to anyone who likes those classical aircraft.Ħ. The airplane itself looks very realistic and looks as if it was taken right out of the 1960s. The Plane features and amazing, easy to use 3D cockpit, many incredible animations, and features that old classical airplane style. The SE210 Caravelle is an astonishing plane done by Heinz Dziurowitz.

The creatpr of the airplane is working on a 3D cockpit which should be done within the coming months, so hang in there for those of you who would like that 3D cockpit. The L1011 features movable flaps, retractable gear, movable fan blades, and all the rest. The L1011 Tristar is another great addition to the classical era of planes. I would definetly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the classics.Ĩ. This DC-3 flies very well and handles close to the real thing. This DC-3 is an amazing model that features an amazing cabin/cockpit, realistic sounds, workable buttons, and many different liviries. All in all, it is a very good plane and a great addition to anyone who enjoys classic planes. The onlu unfortunate thing about this plane is that it does not feature a 3D cockpit. It features movable flaps, retractable gear, a checklist, etc. The Boeing 707-320 is a very well done plane. Q: Who do you think should play this simulator?Ī: I think that only the people who have Macs and don't like FSX should play X-Plane. Q: Do you think that X-Plane should be used in FAA certified flight simulators?Ī: I think that once X-Plane has gotten all the kinks and twigs fixed and has improved all of the problems it should start to be considered for replacing FSX in the FAA simulators. Q: What Graphics for X-Plane do you think should be fixed?Ī: Well I think that they should add working terminal gates, moving traffic, and improve the cars and the roads because i have seen clumps of road that are right, left, backwards, and upside down. The best X-Plane addon that they have is a 777-200LR which is alright but still needs a lot of work compared to the FSX features. They look almost exactly like the real thing, and they even act like it too. It could use a lot more work with the graphics, atc, and the addons could be a lot better.Ī: Well there are people like captainsim who create amazing planes for FSX.
